About the Event
Let Claire introduce you to the wonderful world of fused glass! At this workshop you will have an opportunity to create a beautiful highland cow. First you will add the hair and paint the features. Then you can add a wide variety of shaped glass (pumpkins, toadstools, leaves etc...) around the cow and autumn coloured frit (crushed glass) to fill in the gaps to create a lovely piece measuring 10cm in diameter. All equipment will be provided and there is absolutely no cutting or grinding involved!
The workshop will be led by an experienced fused glass artist (Claire Myers of Cherry Tree Glass Studio), who will fuse the item after the session and add a handmade wooden stand. The completed piece will be available for collection from Eco Hub about a week later.
