About the workshop
During this workshop you will gain experience in using traditional silversmithing techniques to create a silver and seaglass pendant necklace. This is an introductory workshop, no previous experience is necessary.What will you learn?You will learn how to drill seaglass, form/shape, texture, solder (with a flame), file and polish sterling silver to create your own pendant necklace.What is included?We will provide all the tools and materials you need to complete the project.Important information:You will be working with small items and tools, if you need glasses for reading please bring these with you on the day.Please ensure you wear sensible clothing suitable for a workshop environment e.g. no floaty sleeves/scarves. Shoes must be closed toes and long hair should be tied back.Student must be a minimum of 16 years old.
